Exciting news today in the world of Bodnar Financial! Our very own Justin Esposito passed his CFP® professional exam and is officially a Certified Financial Planner™.

The CFP® professional certification is widely considered the standard of excellence in financial planning. To earn it, candidates must meet rigorous education, training, and ethical standards.

They must also make a pledge to the CFP Board to uphold a fiduciary duty to always serve the clients’ best interests today to prepare them for a more secure tomorrow.

The program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, which endorses the quality of the major certification programs that assess professional competence in the U.S., such as medical boards that certify transplant surgeons, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.

(Fun fact: When the Commission recognized the CFP® certification program in 1995, it was the first such accreditation for a non-health related certification in the U.S.)

Of about 3,000 people who took the exam in July, only 67% passed. Justin was one of them.

In addition to holding his CFP® professional designation, Justin has his FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, 65 licenses, he’s a licensed life and health insurance agent, and a Registered Representative of LPL Financial.
